Hello friends!

The other day, my package from ASOS arrived! I actually squealed for joy when I saw the package on my desk. My lovely mother knew that it was coming and placed it in my room the moment it plopped on our doorstep. The black and white lettering on the packaging was just calling for me to rip it up and look at the beautiful clothes inside. If you have read some of my other posts, you may have noticed that my obsession with ASOS is rather new. But, it is not to be underestimated, ASOS has taken simply taken over my online shopping life. That is, what little there is of it. You see, I am the kind of shopper who will always be looking at clothes online, but I very rarely actually buy them. So when I do, it is a super treat.

I am so glad I bought these overalls. I mean how cute are they!?

I decided to pair them with a distressed blue crop top and sandals. I do not usually wear crop tops, as I find them to be a bit too much for me. My style is simply not as adventurous as I would like it to be. But, it was 98 degrees fahrenheit that day, so I wanted to dress as lightly as possible. It did occur to me that black overalls may not be the best choice on a hot day, but I went for it anyways. They worked out pretty well, I wasn’t too hot or anything. They are super soft and flowey. There is a zip up the side, so they are easy to take off and on. I love one pieces and rompers, but without a zip public restrooms are a no go. You know what I mean? So yea, I really like them 🙂

It was a lovely day. My boyfriend and I met up, we ate bagels and went to the park near my house. We were like little kids playing on the monkey bars and swinging on the swings. He is super tall, so I was worried that the monkey bars may break! There was even a sign saying they were only for kids 12 and below. But, they were ok. It was funny because we eyed these two kids hiding under the swings having a deep conversation. No older than maybe thirteen, they were completely absorbed in each other and paid us no attention. There was a summer romance brewing there for sure.

All in all, it was a wonderful day. I’ll see you guys again soon!

xoxo
