Over the last few months I have been listening to so much music.
SO MUCH MUSIC.
In the car, as I walk to and from things, when I’m just sitting around. I am one of those obnoxious college students who always has headphones in my ears. The one and probably only benefit from that is the amount of music I listen to. One of the best investments I have made so far in my life is Spotify Premium. Those few dollars have given me the most valuable power – unlimited skips. This power is one I treasure and hold near and dear to my soul. Anyways, here are some songs I have been jamming to recently.
GREEDY by Ariana Grande
I love Ariana Grande. I actually watched her on Victorious for a while and I remember telling my sister that she would be super famous one day. The moment her first single was released I bought it and jammed out to it in the car with the fam. Since, I have been a fan for so long her recent success has made me so happy for her. Her newest album is so dance worthy and I really suggest checking it out. Of all the songs on the album – this is my favorite. I actually cant help dancing when I hear it.
HYMN FOR THE WEEKEND by Coldplay
This song didn’t really do it for me initially. I actually watched the video first and I didn’t really like it. A famous Bollywood actress, Sonam Kapoor, was apparently “in” it, and so I checked it out. I am not a huge Coldplay fan, so I don’t usually watch their videos. But, she was there for like half a second. I had to watch it twice to even see her. A waste of time. Anyways, I was watching the video so closely to see her, that I didn’t really hear the song properly until I heard it on the radio. THEN I really liked it.
WILD by Troye Sivan
This is simple. The song is incredible. Troye is incredible. The End.
WE DON’T TALK ANYMORE by Charlie Puth ft. Selena Gomez
This is probably my favorite Selena Gomez song so far. The melodies and harmonies are on point and I always sing along to it in the car. I hope she does more music like this because, in my opinion, it suits her voice better than some of her past hits.
HEATHENS by 21 Pilots
This one sounds so spooky and I am really excited to see Suicide Squad!
IN MY MIND by Maty Noes
This song makes me dance every time, I literally sing along so loudly in my car. Sorry not Sorry. Its just really catchy, and I really like the chorus.
